Here at Vintage Health Naturopathic Services, I offer consultations in a format that is easiest for you. If you are in the Montreal area, I currently offer private consultations on Tuesdays and Wednesdays near Monkland village in NDG.
Alternatively, I offer on-line consultations via Skype or Google Hangout (video calls).
What to expect
When you book your appointment for an initial consultation, your journey of optimal health begins. You may notice, I have written ‘your journey of optimal health’ as opposed to ‘your journey to optimal health’. This is because, your good health is not a someday goal to reach, but rather it begins with your commitment, making yourself and your health a priority. Sure, there are areas of health that can be worked on (you probably wouldn’t be paying good money if you didn’t have something you wanted to address or achieve), but the important thing is that optimal health starts today.
As part of your preparation for your initial consultation, I will send you a health questionnaire and a food diary. I suggest you give yourself up to an hour to fill out the health questionnaire, and the food diary is best completed at the end of each day, for up to five days. I ask that you email back to me your completed health questionnaire and food diary the day before we meet, or earlier. This allows me to understand your health issues and goals before we have your initial consultation, and ultimately serve your needs better. While the questionnaire and the food diary give me, your Naturopath, information about you and your health, they also gives you a chance to get clear for yourself what you want to address, and take stock of where you are right now. Spending time completing the questionnaire gives you a base-line, so to speak, from which you can begin your journey of optimal health.
Bring any recent medical test results to your initial consultation which takes 90 minutes. We will go through your health information together, I may ask you some further questions, and we will discuss in detail what you wish to achieve in your sessions with me, and in your journey of optimal health. This is a potentially exciting and dynamic conversation. You get to create your health and your life, so think big! I make my recommendations for your journey of optimal health, and we discuss any future plans. I am here as your health resource, and to guide you through the process, so if you have any health-related questions, feel free to ask here too.
Follow up Consultations
Follow up appointments build on both your initial consultation and the journey you and your health have taken since then. These sessions usually last no more than an hour.We discuss your progress, and then I will make further recommendations for your journey of optimal health. This is an opportunity for you to be inspired, focus your direction,and ask any questions.
Consultations on-line mean you can have your appointment(s) from the comfort of your own home or office, and at a time that is most convenient for you and me. Some clients like a mixture of in-person and on-line consultations, according to their schedules.
